Mary Stuart

Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff

March 2011

Director: George Perrin

Costume designer: Megan Watkins

I was a costume maker and dresser for this Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama production. The costumes were modern interpretations of Tudor fashions with inspiration from fashions by Alexander McQueen, All Saints and Vivienne Westwood. These costumes incorporated abstract screen prints, silk velvets and dupions, real and faux leathers and working zips mimicking doublet slashing.
